The difference between today’s post and yesterday’s post is that I have not earned my right to post this by completing my homework. It’s still in the works, but I totally need to remove myself from this assignment at the moment. My harder classes fall on consecutive days and one week in, it’s already driving me crazy. But alas, tomorrow is the start of the weekend and a new chance to get ahead of the game, which I was ALMOST successful at for this week. (Almost.)
This skirt another article of clothing I have had for months but have never worn. What’s the point of owning something if you don’t wear it? I’ve been searching for a way to wear it but nothing ever felt right. By no means is this a long skirt but the proportions just felt really long with every other top that I tried it with. Then by chance I tried this out and voila! I love it. Not to mention I’m finally able to wear my leather jacket again since leaving the UK and it instantly made this outfit feel right. Of course, it’s still like in the 70s-80s so I had to take it off for most of the day.
Lastly, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to shoot in front of this random blue tile wall. I remember thinking, “It’d look great with something pastel,” and like, a year later I ended up with this baby pink iridescent skirt that went perfectly with it. This is an extremely public place but I guess I’ve gotten over my fear of shooting in front of people. But cue my angry face in the 3rd photos because like I’ve said, my eyebrows struggle with being happy while in public places. Also, I had noticed I was sitting right next to a bee hive which wasn’t really cool, either. But luckily, I wasn’t in Miami where they probably would’ve been Africanized Killer Bees. (Though in the past I’ve accidentally shot near to those, too…oops.)
Also, am I looking taller? I feel like I look taller. Sadly, I’m totally still 5’6″.
