Purple Horizontal Ombré Nails

Post image for Purple Horizontal Ombré Nails

I decided to finally do horizontal ombre nails! I’ve been wanting to for a while, but with my recent $1 purchases at the RI American Apparel, I was finally able to complete my spectrum :)

For the gradient, I used (from lightest to darkest): “Coney Island” by American Apparel, “Raspberry Race” by Sally Hansen (Insta-Dri), “Plum Perfect” from Ulta, “African Violet” by American Apparel, and “Imperial Purple” by American Apparel. All of these are new to TTTS except “Imperial Purple”, which you can see on its own here.

I seriously can’t stop looking at my nails! I can’t wait to do this with a blue spectrum. The amount of purple nail polishes I had kinda snuck up on me! I didn’t think I’d be able to do purple first. We’ll see what comes next…I might actually find time to do a vertical ombré…but I can’t make any promises. Speaking of which, I know this is more than a nails + shoe blog. I’ll get to showing you outfits and art as soon as possible…I promise!

So so gorgeous! I love the way it came out! :) Now I have to look through my collection and see if I have enough of any color to try the ombré nails myself!

I still can’t get over how amazing your nails came out! I just checked AA online right now and there were no $1 nail polishes. :( Maybe next time.

Thank you lovely! You might find better luck at a store. Call around your area and see if they do! It’s such a good deal.

That is SUCH a cool idea!!! Not as in your face as rainbow colors would be, but subtly creative… love it!

Thank you so much! It’s definitely a more “mature” rainbow….however, I’m not gonna lie….I’m always tempted to full-on rainbow! Haha. Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate your feedback :)

Thank you! Purple isn’t my favorite, but I definitely love it, too :)
