So, I probably have more hot pink nail polishes than anything right now, but “Angeline” by American Apparel certainly caught my eye. I picked it up during my Black Friday shopping trip and was so anxious to use it! I didn’t get a chance until last night, when I was busy procrastinating sleep at 5am instead of being well-rested for my 9:40am class. The best way to describe Angeline is to say it is a little bit on the cool side in the pink spectrum, but overall, fairly neutral.
My mom gave me Essie’s “Chinchilly” since she wasn’t so into it. (She ended up falling for it again later so I might buy her a bottle!) It is a pretty warm grey, and pinkish in hue. However, paired with a pink as vibrant as AA’s Angeline, it most certainly gets cooled down to a neutral, plain grey. But plain is most certainly not a bad thing :)
This semester has had me thinking SO much about color, I’m tempted to start mixing my own colors. I’m not sure whether or not I’m being serious right now. I guess we’ll have to see later…
So lovelies, what do your nails look like today?

The grey is such a perfect, but unexpected addition to the hot pink – I love it! :D
Thank you Kailey! I didn’t think I’d be pairing them together until I did it! I was going to use glitter instead.
love the pink one and i must say i never go for pink, but that one is great!

Hahaha, thanks Giaa. It’s the perfect shade of pink…not too light, not too grey, not too dark. I’ll probably be wearing it a lot, especially come spring time :)
Love the warm grey!
Thank you, Jess! Isn’t it such a great shade?
Gorgeous Grey nail polish ! Lovely !

Isn’t so nice? Thank you for stopping by Marzena!
I’m obsessing over the way your nails turned out. These colors are great!
You’re too nice, Jen :) I’m obsessing, too! Hahaha.
I love the one grey painted nail in the sea of delicious hot pink!! I’m going to steal this from you and try painting one of my nails different than all the others–you’ve inspired me!
