Missing (I refuse to say gone) are the days where I would fight the cold weather to channel my inner Floridian by wearing minimal amounts of clothing. Lately, I’ve just been throwing on things that are comfortable, but still definitely make sense. Cue these jeans from Urban Outfitters. It’s been years since I purchased a pair from them, but when I tried these on, it was like a re-realization of how great their jeans are (for now, at least). They’re the perfect slouchy fit, which is basically why they were purchased for the drive from Miami to Providence. I live in these now and am too ashamed (not really) of how I interchange it with various American Apparel crop tops (of which I own many styles of in at least triplicate).
I was never big on button-downs–except the AA ones you used to always see me in–until I started working this summer. This blouse saved my life in a closet full of the extremes of /black crop tops/ and /chunky sweaters/.
I’m not sure what happened but now I just like to be clothed. Am I old now? Help.
But, okay…fine. I’ll admit there’s still that weird, “I need some level of lots of skin around here somewhere,” factor. I guess it did make its appearance here, after all.
