Today’s the last day! Get your entries in for H&M‘s 50 States of Fashion competition! Finalists get a $250 gift card and a chance to win the grand prize of $1000 to shop at H&M, as well as a trip for two to NYC to attend an H&M event. All you have to do is a post a photo to Instagram with your personal style, and tag it with #HMShopOnlineXX, with XX representing the abbreviation of the state you from. So, since I’m representing Rhode Island, my hashtag will be #HMShopOnlineRI. You can find the official rules here.

As for my outfit, H&M sent over a gift card and luckily it came right before I left for my trip to Providence and NYC last week. I got to have a little NYC shopping spree! I know this bustier is a tired fashion blogger trend, but I found it all by itself and didn’t have any tops to bring to checkout and thought it was a weird sort of fate that it fit me. I’m glad I found it since it looks great with this skirt! I’m also obsessed with all things plaid right now so you’ll be seeing a lot of it on the blog soon.

In addition to my H&M duds, I’m wearing my new Nasty Gal x Reformation bomber jacket. Dying over the girl powerness. I have been wanting a satin club jacket kind of piece, and bam! Here it is, with a little bit of sass. The awesome thing is that it’s made of surplus fabric so it uses material already made instead of creating more consumer waste.

Don’t forget H&M‘s has launched online store! Find these pieces and many more!

Wah I want that bomber jacket. I’m obsessed with Reformation. Really love this outfit even though yes, we’re always in crop tops like these. I hope we get some cooler weather so we can kind take a break. I’m getting a bit burnt out lol.

Everything by Reformation is soooo good. Now that I’m up north you’d think I’d get a break but its still like, in the 80s up here! Eesh. Totally still a crop top and shorts kinda day.
