Pattern clashing is something I’ve stayed clear of, not because I wasn’t into it, but because I didn’t see how I could bring it into my own style. And despite wearing two very different patterns, I still feel like I’ve failed since the two pieces are still pretty harmonious. Like, of course I would pair a blue flannel with a blue floral print.
Speaking of this floral top, AA sent this to me in April and I’ve worn it tons but it’s just now making it to the blog. I’ve been really bad with getting their stuff on here lately…it’s just that it’s all so easy to wear so I throw it on when I’m in a rush and with the copious amount of clothing I own, things stay in the laundry hamper for nearly two months before getting a wash. I love the fit of this top soooo much. I have one in a dark red that, due to me being a messy college student, I lost sometime during sophomore year and I quickly bought it back. It’s one of my wardrobe staples and it was quite a good day when AA sent this to me while I was abroad after leaving mine in the States.
Lastly, you can’t really tell but I’m totally middle-parting my hair. I haven’t done that in years! I think my layers have finally reached the appropriate length in the front where it looks good. Also, I think my £1 Chonga hoops from Primark compliment the middle part nicely. Hahahaha. Love these godawful things.
Anyway, I wore this to photograph my brother-in-law’s band at their show. It was so much fun!
