It always makes me feel so bad when my first post of any month is more than half-way through the month. But, at the same time, I’ve made it a point to not force myself to blog when I have lots of other things to handle. In case you weren’t aware, I’ve left my warm sunny climate of Florida to spend a semester in London. It’s a total love/hate right now, but I figured it would be. I get home sick really easily but once I take the plunge, what can I do…ya know?

I haven’t been taking too many photos as I’m still acclimating and managing my time (my commute to school takes over an hour instead of 5 minutes) but I’ll have some outfit photos and more adventures for you soon. Overall, I’m having fun and learning, so this trip has been worth it since day one.

I’m updating on Instagram far more often so you can see what I’m up to over there. Username: MelaniePatterson_

Welcome to London!

I’m in the middle of moving house but once I’ve got some free time, and presuming you do too, it’d be great to meet up with a group of blogger friends, if you want to :)

Thank you, Becky! I’m soooooo down to meet up. That would be amazing, actually. Let me know when you have deets and if you can send along some London-based blogs that you like, that would be wonderful, too :)

Your Photos are great. Keep up the good work. Going to school in another counrty can be hard to adjust but once it’s over you’ll look back and said “I did that”. Not too many can say that. More power to you girlie. Stay posted.

Thanks Alaina! Thank goodness this isn’t TOO much of a cultural difference (I’d be crying if they were speaking another language, for example) so I’m adjusting quite well. Still want to be home, though, hahaha. But yeah, definitely. I’m so happy to be able to have this experience! I’ll definitely be posting some more photos so stay tuned!

I’m super duper jealous you’re in London- such an amazing city. It is hard to be away from home, but I know you’re going to have a wonderful time!

I still can’t believe I’m here sometimes, hahaha. Part of me wants to be home but I’m having a really great experience so far so it’s really not bad at all. Thank you :)
