When these pants came in the mail, I knew that they had to go with this bodysuit. I ordered them from ASOS, but because their warehouse was damaged by hurricane Sandy, they refunded my order with a $20 off coupon. I used it to re-order them for $9. How great is that?

I later changed out the shoes because I was heading to work, as they felt weird with this combination of leopard + form-fitting + sheer.

The post title is a reference to Beenie Man. I’m sure you guys know I love 90s and early 2000s music, and reggae, reggae fusion, and dancehall is no exception. My Jamaican side shows through selectively: for example, I know how to cook mostly Jamaican food, but, I don’t have any sort of an accent–even when I’m angry or otherwise worked up (which is a typical Caribbean thing, haha).

Anyway, a song I’ve been bumping lately is “Girls Dem Sugar” by Beenie Man, featuring Mya, and produced by The Neptunes. Have a listen. Soooo good.

P.S. You need Spotify to listen! It’s so good! Thanks to Casee for introducing me to it over a year ago!

I really like the oversize button sweater and the pants, I wouldn’t mind owning a pair of printed pants , They look really nice on you, I feel like it wouldn’t fit me but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try.

Thank you! I used to be afraid of printed pants but if you find a pair you really like, just go for it! They’re such a great wardrobe addition.
