A Little Laid Back

Here is what I wore yesterday! I thought that my ombre nails called for really cool shoes, and I just so happen to have these in my closet. (If you could call a corner next to my bed a closet.) People are usually taken aback when I wear more relaxed outfits. Sometimes, I am, too. But, this is what Winter does to me. I’ve put myself in a situation where I haven’t worn tights in weeks. Which also means I haven’t worn skirts or dresses in weeks. Which is kind of bad, now that I think about it.

Anyway, this shirt has been a favorite of mine for like 4 years. I will wear it until it’s in pieces. I actually want another one in a larger size because, well, larger shirts are the best shirts, am I right? I have this weird extreme of shirts….really loose and baggy, or short and tiny crop tops. Almost never in between, hahaha. As for the jeans, my mom bought these for me in December from Macy’s. I only have dark wash or medium wash jeans and I thought, “Why not?” These have worked their way into my wardrobe quite seamlessly.

Wearing: American Apparel tri-blend raglan, Levi’s 535 Denim Leggings, Jeffrey Campbell Litas.

Thanks, Jen! :) I had to balance out the boring top with the crazy shoes! Hahaha.

I think this is a relaxed outfit until you get to the shoes, then it’s like BAM! haha, I love it! :)

Hahaha, yaaaay! That’s what I was going for :) I’m not a big fan of being entirely casual. Luckily a pair of shoes like these can take an everyday outfit and make it a tiny bit more special :) Haha. Thank you Nnenna!
