Post image for CMYK

So how about I’m in so much love? I marbled my nails for the first time and I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out! There are a couple ugly parts and some bubbles that I didn’t pop, but the science to this is so “DUH!” and, “Why didn’t I do this earlier?” It’s relatively easy…it’s just that setup time takes a bit long. But it’s not too long where I can’t see myself doing this several more times, though! I change my nails once a week, so I might not do it again for a little while, but I’m going to obsess over this so much while I have it.

Colors are all from the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear line: Twisted Pink, Mellow Yellow, and Blue Me Away! If you’ve known me for a while, you possibly know of my absolute love for CMYK color. I’m kind of a big computer nerd.

(I get this feeling my Concepts professor is going to really like this.)

Marbling paper, here I come!

Love your marbled nails! I really want to try this, just have to find the time! My other concern is, do you waste a lot of nail polish in the set-up?

Thanks! :) You definitely need to try it! It does kind of waste a lot, but if you plan correctly, you can get 2 fingers in an individual batch. The thing is, it’s only about 9 drops of nail polish in each batch, but you’ll need 6-10 batches. And sometimes, cheap nail polish works better! Some O.P.I. colors are too dense to work.

I really enjoyed looking at your various style posts — a Miami transplant in New England, definitely something to marvel at! I look forward to seeing more posts from you! <3

That means so much to me, thanks a lot! Haha, I’m missing Miami SO much in this cold right now, not even going to lie.

Thanks again for stopping by!

I LOVE your nails! I’ve been wanting to try the marble effect but I think I would create a terrible mess!

Thank you Jen! And thanks again for the RT! It’s really not that messy, trust me :)
